From Creslane:

Kindergarten Moms will share a special Mother’s Day tea on Thursday, May 7.  9:30 is the time for morning classes and 1:15 for those in the afternoon.

Fourth graders have their Wax Museum presentations set for 6:00 p.m., also on May 7.

From Creswell Middle School:

The OBOB participants will celebrate their successful year with a luncheon on May 6.

The CMS track team has a meet at Pleasant Hill also on May 6.  Events begin at 4:00.

From Creswell High School:

The CHS Music Department’s Spring Concert is set for Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commons.

Sports events [this] week include JV baseball vs. Glide at home on Monday, baseball and softball games vs. Glide here on Tuesday, a home track meet on Wednesday, JV baseball vs. Coquille at home on Thursday, doubleheader baseball and softball games at Coquille on Friday, and a track meet at Regis, also on Friday.  As is always the case in the spring, both rain-out and make-up games could result in changes to the schedule.

Happenings and News Roundup: Week of April 20, 2015

From Creslane:

Creslane Choir members will attend the Oregon Choral Festival on Tuesday, April 21 at the Hult Center.

If you or anyone you know with a child who will be 5 years old by September 1 missed the official “Kindergarten Round-Up” in March, you can still get signed up in the Creslane office.  Stop by any time during regular school hours.

From Creswell Middle School:

The CMS Choir will also participate in the Oregon Choral Festival on Tuesday, April 21 at the Hult Center.

The track team will compete at “home” on Wednesday [this] week, which means the meet will be held at CHS.  Track photos will be taken on Friday, April 24.

From Creswell High School:

Sports events [this] week include baseball and softball games at Oakland on Monday, home games vs. Coquille on Tuesday and home double-headers vs. Harrisburg on Friday, with the first games beginning at 2:00.  There is a home track meet on Thursday with events starting at 4:30.

There is a PTO Coffee Chat session scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 in the Creslane library.  All are welcome.

Music students will be at South Eugene HS on Tuesday morning next week to rehearse for the Metro Choir event.  Jazz band and choir will take part in the Pleasant Hill Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 18.

CHS sports events [this] week include baseball and softball games at Dayton on Wednesday (JV baseball at home), a JV baseball game here on Thursday vs. Glide and varsity double-headers at Glide on Friday.

From Creslane:

Creslane continues to fine-tune efforts to avoid congestion and improve safety in the parking lot.  Check the Creslane webpage (http://www.creswell.k12.or.us/wp/ces/) for updates on this from Mr. Beck.

From Creswell Middle School:

The CMS choir has their spring concert scheduled on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafetorium.

The Science Fair will also be held on Wednesday, March 18, with presentations from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

From Creswell High School:

The CHS Concert Band leaves for Disneyland on Thursday of next week. They have concerts on stage there on March 21 and 22.

Awards night for the winter sports teams is set for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.
