From the District Office:

Congratulations to the members of the Creswell High School Class of 2015! The graduation ceremony is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5 at Markley Field (weather permitting).  All are welcome to attend and send off this year’s CHS seniors!

The proposed 2015-16 District Budget, as approved by the district’s Budget Committee, will be the subject of a public hearing and potential adoption at the June School Board meeting on June 10.  Copies are available at the District Office and a summary was printed in this week’s Creswell Chronicle.

From Creslane:

There is no school for students (at Creslane only) on Friday, June 5, as that is a scheduled conference day at the elementary school.

If you or anyone you know missed the Kindergarten Round-up, you can still stop by the Creslane office and get registered for next fall.

From Creswell Middle School:

It’s a quiet week at CMS next week.  Looking ahead, the 8th grade promotion ceremony is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the CMS gym.

From Creswell High School:

Next week is an exciting time for CHS seniors. A Baccalaureate is planned on Tuesday evening at 7:00 in the CHS Commons. Wednesday is the last day of classes. There will be a 9:00 a.m. graduation rehearsal on Thursday and another on Friday morning after the 8:30 Senior Breakfast in the Commons. And the graduation ceremony will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by a reception and then the all-night party sponsored by the senior parents.  Congratulations to all the graduates of the CHS Class of 2015!

From Creslane:

The PTO Family Night is set for Friday, May 29 from 6:00-8:00 in Creslane’s gym and courtyard.  The choir will perform and there will be raffles, food and carnival-type games.  This will be a fun night for all.  Donations and volunteers are still welcome—if you can help, contact creslanepto@gmail.com.

From Creswell Middle School:

Students participating in Junior Achievement have a trip to Vancouver on Wednesday, May 27.

The annual 7th grade jet boat trip on the Rogue is scheduled for Thursday, May 28.

The 6th grade trip to Oak Park is set for Friday, May 29.

From Creswell High School:

The CHS music department’s annual Spring Jam is set for Tuesday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard, weather permitting. This is a fun night with food and performances. All are welcome.

The student Awards Assembly will be Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the gym.

The Senior Scholarship/Awards Night is set for Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commons.

The annual CHS Talent Show will be Friday, May 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the Commons.

From the District Office:

The first Budget Committee meeting to receive budget message and public comment on the proposed 2015-16 District Budget is set for Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the District Office Board Room. The Budget Committee will deliberate on the proposal and could make a decision at this meeting. If needed, a second meeting is set for Wednesday, May 27.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 15, 2015 at the District Office, 998 West A Street, Creswell, Oregon 97426, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

From Creslane:

Lions Club members will be sharing flags with Creslane first graders on Friday, May 22.

From Creswell Middle School:

Last Choir Concert of the year is Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the CMS cafetorium.

The culinary classes head to LCC on Wednesday for demonstration and lunch.

There is a “We the people” field trip to the Salem Capitol on Thursday with departure at 7:45 and return at 3:45 p.m.

From Creswell High School:

CHS has a Blood Drive scheduled on Wednesday, May 20 from 8:00-1:00.
