Kindergarten Registration @ Creslane Elementary

Welcome Future Graduating Class of 2031!

Kindergarten Registration & Informational
Date: Thursday, March 22
Time: 4:30-6:00 PM

Creslane Elementary will be hosting a kindergarten registration and informational for the 2017-18 school year on Thursday, March 22 from 4:30-6:00 at Creslane.

Families will have a chance to meet Creslane kindergarten teachers, discover what all-day kindergarten looks like, check out the classrooms, and learn about the resources available to kindergarten students and their families.

Families with children who will be 5 years old by September 1 who have not already registered for kindergarten should plan to visit the event.

Cannot make the event?  Families can stop by the Creslane Office between the hours of 8:00-4:00 to pick up the registration packet and information about kindergarten.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Creslane Elementary.  If you, or someone you know, has a child that will be entering kindergarten next fall please mark this date on your calendar.  We hope to see you at the Kindergarten Registration on Thursday, March 22.

Challenging High School Students with Every 15 Minutes Program

Dear Parents and Community Members,

Creswell High School is hosting the “Every 15 Minutes” program this week which challenges students to think about drinking, texting while driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions when lives are involved. The program includes a mock car crash that we will stage in the west parking lot at the high school on Tuesday (March 13th) from 2:15 to 3:00 p.m. The simulation will include high school students, Lane County Sheriff’s officers, South Lane County Fire & Rescue personnel, and our local Life Flight team. Please be aware that sirens and emergency vehicles are part of the simulation. All responders will work this simulation as they would any real crash. We kindly ask that you do not call the school or come to the school during this timeframe, since the staged crash scene IS NOT open to the general public. Thank you for your attention and support of this teaching opportunity for our students.

Thank you,

Adam Watkins
