Timothy Rogers, Creswell School Board member, was among 20 local school board members who graduated May 5th with skills gained from the Oregon School Boards Association’s Leadership Oregon program. By completing this leadership program, Director Rogers obtained OSBA’s highest level of professional development recognition – Platinum Level.
The participants completed four sessions of 1½ days each to graduate, learning leadership skills and joining a support network of education leaders from across the state. The sessions consisted of advanced leadership, advocacy and engagement, key issues, and effective communications.
The program is offered at no charge once every two years. OSBA, based in Salem, represents nearly 1,400 local board members of school districts, charter schools, education service districts and community colleges statewide.
Congratulations Director Rogers!
