New Creswell HS Principal Selected

Creswell School District is pleased to announce that Adam Watkins has been selected as the next principal at Creswell High School. Mr. Watkins comes to Creswell from Salem-Keizer School District, where he currently serves as a district-level administrator supporting instructional services and career technical education programs.

Before joining the Instructional Services Department, Mr. Watkins spent eleven years as a high school assistant principal, curriculum assistant, athletic director, and member of the Oregon Athletic Directors Executive Board. He also spent five years as a middle school teacher. Mr. Watkins is an instructional leader with a great vision for preparing students for success, and he has a clear passion for supporting students, staff, and our Creswell community.

Mr. Watkins earned his B.S. in Secondary Education/Physical Education and Health from Western Oregon University in 2001 and his Masters in Educational Administration from Portland State University in 2005.

Mr. Watkins is a northwest native, originally from Monmouth, Oregon. He and his wife have six children – two girls and four boys.

Mr. Watkins is a welcome addition to Creswell High School and Creswell School District. As time permits, Mr. Watkins will visit the school between now and the end of the school year.
