Happenings and News Roundup: Week of June 1, 2015

A snippet from “Creswell School News” a weekly news roundup published by Sue Bowers

From the District Office:

Congratulations to the members of the Creswell High School Class of 2015! The graduation ceremony is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5 at Markley Field (weather permitting).  All are welcome to attend and send off this year’s CHS seniors!

The proposed 2015-16 District Budget, as approved by the district’s Budget Committee, will be the subject of a public hearing and potential adoption at the June School Board meeting on June 10.  Copies are available at the District Office and a summary was printed in this week’s Creswell Chronicle.

From Creslane:

There is no school for students (at Creslane only) on Friday, June 5, as that is a scheduled conference day at the elementary school.

If you or anyone you know missed the Kindergarten Round-up, you can still stop by the Creslane office and get registered for next fall.

From Creswell Middle School:

It’s a quiet week at CMS next week.  Looking ahead, the 8th grade promotion ceremony is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the CMS gym.

From Creswell High School:

Next week is an exciting time for CHS seniors. A Baccalaureate is planned on Tuesday evening at 7:00 in the CHS Commons. Wednesday is the last day of classes. There will be a 9:00 a.m. graduation rehearsal on Thursday and another on Friday morning after the 8:30 Senior Breakfast in the Commons. And the graduation ceremony will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by a reception and then the all-night party sponsored by the senior parents.  Congratulations to all the graduates of the CHS Class of 2015!
