Creswell Middle School Principal Shirley Burrus was honored at the April 8 Creswell School Board Meeting, when Brigadier General Norm Hoffman, U.S. Army (Retired) made a special appearance to recognize for her service as a patriotic employer.
“The patriot award is given for employers, specifically supervisors, who provide things like flexible schedules when necessary, time off after deployment or to go to training, that care for families and grant absences if leave is needed,” Gen.
