From the District Office:  The Healthy Youth Clinic will be held this month at Creslane on Thursday, January 16 from 8:30-12:00 a.m. in the health room. Please contact Mrs. Woods at 541-895-6140 to schedule an appointment for your child at this free medical clinic. The clinic will see children from birth up to 19 years-of-age.

From Creslane:  The monthly Creslane Coffee Chat and PTO meeting happens next Tuesday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the library. 

Pages, an after school program produced by the Creswell Library, continues to meet every Wednesday from 2:15-3:05in Creslane’s Library.  This is a literacy-based program for elementary schoolers, using games, riddles and other creative ideas with picture books, novels, fiction and informational texts.  The program is designed with first through third graders in mind, but all K-5 students are welcome.

From Creswell Middle School:  The CMS Site Council will meet on Wednesday, Jan 15 at 7:45 a.m.

7th and 8th grade boys’ basketball practice begins on Monday, Jan. 13.  Registration will continue to be open until Jan. 17.  The participation fee is $100.

From Creswell High School:  All seniors who are even thinking about attending college next year should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible at www.fafsa.gov 

Important/special news from others in Creswell:

The Creswell Food Pantry has now moved to its new location in the Cobalt Building, located on Cobalt Street, just east of 5th Street, a couple blocks north of the high school.  The Pantry provides a once-a-month emergency food box (plus 4 extra boxes during a year) to income-eligible individuals and families.  The Pantry is open every Thursday between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
