The staff at Creswell Middle School is dedicated and highly qualified. We will continue to focus on providing a positive learning environment with rigorous academic expectations for all students. We believe every student’s education is individual and unique. Because of this, we provide high-end learner opportunities and academic support throughout the school day. We are a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) school, which teaches and promotes skills for success.
We have an award winning band and choir program, daily physical education, excellent technology opportunities, a fine arts program, culinary classes and a project fair linked with math, language arts, science, and social studies. Creswell Middle School also provides an interscholastic athletic program, which is directly tied to the student’s behavior and academic grades. In an effort to ease the transition to middle school, we have a Connect Mentor Program that partners every 6th grade student with an 8th grade mentor. Our school feels strongly about the power of relationships, and cultivates these with fun activities all year long. We maintain a strong focus on attendance, every day counts. Celebrations, interventions, and prizes throughout the school year are provided.
As we prepare all students for success, we hope that parents/guardians will stay involved in their child’s education and extra-curricular opportunities that are offered at CMS. You can do this by monitoring your child’s homework, checking Home Access, volunteering and attending Open House and student led conferences. We look forward to partnering with you to make sure all of our students reach their full potential.
