Good morning Creslane families. We are off to a terrific start on our first day of school!
The air quality status for our area is still rated “Unhealthy” so there will be no outside recess today. Students will either spend their lunch recess today in the gym playing games or in their classroom doing quiet activities.
Good afternoon Creslane. We hope to see you on Wednesday between 2:00-5:30 for our Drop-In Day. Drop-In Day is a time for you to meet your child’s classroom teacher, to drop off school supplies, and to tour the school.
Air Quality Update: Wildfire smoke in our area is impacting our students’ outdoor activities. We are closely monitoring air quality and are in regular contact with local agencies during this wildfire season to help guide our decision making around school-sponsored student activities taking place outside. Creswell School District staff are monitoring the Air Quality Index data gathered and posted by Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA) and doing regular visual inspections of outside air quality to determine outdoor activity levels for students, per the Oregon Health Authority’s Public Health Guidance for School Outdoor Activities During Wildfire Events.
Once school begins, decisions about outdoor activities, including sports, recess and PE will be made throughout the day, using the OHA guidelines mentioned above.
Our athletic directors, coaches, and support staff are communicating with families and students participating in OSAA activities regarding these health guidelines. School staff will notify families if any changes are made to games or practice times and schedules. Decisions regarding games will be made daily, as necessary.

Good morning Creslane families. Class lists will be posted outside the main office doors tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. We are thrilled to have your children attend our school this year and we have placed a lot of thought and effort into creating these classrooms and placing your each student in the optimal learning environment.
Each year before school starts, or even a few days into the new school year, a parent will ask about changing the classroom placement for their child. I encourage families to give each classroom assignment at least a month before we begin to explore changing classrooms.
Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions.
Good afternoon Creslane families. There are three opportunities for the Creslane community to participate in a fundraiser that allows families to see a U of O football game at a discounted price and provides funding support to our school.
