Hello! It was great to see so many of you at last nights PTO meeting. For those of you who missed it, here is an update of what was discussed.
The PTO sponsored jog-a-thon is right around the corner. The kick off assembly for the jog-a-thon will be held Friday September 22nd. This same day the pledge packets and volunteer sign up forms will be sent home with each student. The jog-a-thon will take place on October 6th on the high school track. We will be needing many volunteers to make this event run smoothly. If you are able to volunteer you can send PTO an email at Creslanepto@gmail.com or fill out one of the volunteer forms that will be sent home with students.
The jog-a-thon schedule will be as follows:
8:15-9:00 set up at the high school track
9:00-9:30 5th Grade
9:35-10:05 1st Grade
10:10-10:40 2nd Grade
10:45-11:15 3rd Grade
11:20-11:50 4th Grade
12:05 Clean up
If you are interested in helping to prep materials for the jog-a-thon we will be meeting in the copy room on Monday, September 18th at 8:15. We will be preparing the pledge envelopes, tally bracelets, participation bracelets and completion certificates.
Other upcoming PTO events include:
Duck Football Tickets Fundraiser: There are two opportunities left to buy Duck’s football tickets and support Creslane at the same time. The dates are October 7th and November 18th. More information on this will be coming home with students this Friday.
Pop Corn Friday: Our first popcorn Friday will be September 22nd. We are in need of additional volunteers to help pop the popcorn and deliver it to classrooms. If you are interested please send Creslanepto@gmail.com your contact information.
October PBIS: October’s PBIS event will be the Harvest party, this event will be held on October 31st. More information and volunteer sign ups will be coming home soon.
Our next PTO meeting will be Tuesday October 10th at 6 pm in the Library, hope to see you all there!
