Presidential Scholarship

Presidential ScholarshipAs Oregon State University’s most prestigious award, the Presidential Scholarship is designed to reward academic excellence and inspire those selected to continue to be a positive force in the world. The scholarship is highly competitive with Presidential Scholars in line to pursue elite awards such as the Goldwater, Fulbright and Truman Scholarships upon graduation from Oregon State. In total, the Presidential Scholarship provides  President Ed Ray$40,000 over the student’s undergraduate career ($10,000 renewable annually).


Academic Achievement AwardThis scholarship is automatically awarded to Oregon residents who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement and dedication to their educational pursuits. They exemplify the high standards OSU has set for our future leaders. The award amount varies from $6,000 to $24,000 over four years ($1,500 to $6,000 renewable annually).

Bridge to Success Program“As Oregon’s land grant university, it is our mission to ensure that the sons and daughters of this state have access to a premier college education, and the Bridge to Success Program will help us fulfill that promise for worthy students with significant financial need.” -President Ed Ray
Bridge to Success combines federal, state and university funds to help many qualified Oregon students attend the university tuition free. Students that qualify are automatically considered. There is no additional application required.

They intend on making a positive impact in the lives of our visitors both on and off the web by offering a scholarship.


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Applicant must be 16 years or older
  • Must be either a senior in high school or currently enrolled in accredited institutions

Cables and Sensors is proud to provide financial assistance to one lucky student. Students currently enrolled in programs related to the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare are welcome to apply by entering their email address and accomplishing the entry options listed. The awardee will be chosen at random.


  • Must be a legal U.S. resident or hold a valid student visa
  • Applicant must be 18 years or older
  • Student must be enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program related to fields of Health Sciences, Medical, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare at a U.S. university, college, or school.
