SUMMARY:
EEAE was tabled a few months ago. A component of the policy dealing with
non-employees transporting students has been addressed. JFCF-AR is another
tabled item now resurrected by the Policy Committee.
SUPERINTENDENT'S ADVICE:
Mr. Burrus and I are comfortable with the language highlighted on the EEAE
revision. Administrators are comfortable with JFCF/GBNA-AR as submitted.

SUMMARY:
Pleasant Hills School Board recently asked for an opinion from the Oregon
Government Standards and Practices Commission (aka, Ethics Commission)
regarding athletic passes.
SUPERINTENDENT'S ADVICE:
This is a discussion item, but the Board may want the policy committee to
review the memo from Dr. Fritts and make some recommendation regarding athletic
passes. Given the number of passes and low gate receipts, the Board may want to
review the situation of free passes in its entirety.

SUMMARY:
The Strategic Planning Committee met on September 25th. A cropped
copy of the SP agenda is attached. Items A, B, and C under "3. New
Business" were adopted by the committee. There will actually be a total of
4 subcommittees as there are two subcommittees working on alternative school
settings. Each subcommittee was asked to give me a list of their membership and
to provide a press release notifying the public regarding their meeting times,
place, dates, etc., and who to contact (subcommittee chair). I will forward
that information to the paper as I receive same.

Approve committee recommendations.
